Where This All Began
While grown-ups remain nearby and supervise, their littles have a space of their own to safely explore, follow their curiosity and simply play.
I want parents to be able to settle into those moments with a little less guilt and a little more presence, knowing their child isn’t just occupied. But happy, engaged and doing something genuinely meaningful for them.
Because giving little ones somewhere meaningful to be gives their grown-ups a little more freedom to simply be there, too.
As a mom of three, I know the feeling of getting somewhere and realizing there’s really nowhere to just set your little one down at. So instead of, say, catching up with people you haven’t seen in forever, you’re now following a toddler through a space that simply was not set up for them.
I was thinking how nice it would be if there actually was a space within those gatherings that was made just for them. Somewhere my kids could explore, play and genuinely enjoy themselves while I sat nearby, kept an eye on them, and actually got to enjoy being there, too.
And to add to that... I don’t want to put my children just anywhere simply to keep them occupied.
what they’re doing in that space matters to me.
There’s a huge difference between simply keeping a child occupied and giving them the opportunity for meaningful play. The kind that follows their interests, encourages independence, sparks curiosity and gives them room to create, experiment, problem-solve and discover all at their own pace.
That’s why I created Little Wonder.
My goal is to bring thoughtfully curated, child-led play spaces to celebrations, community gatherings and events that may not otherwise have a place designed for little ones.
